MacArthur Place Intimate June Wedding

I went to college with Alexa’s sister and when she recommended me to Alexa, I was so honored. I immediately hit it off with her and I was SO excited about what she had planned. She and Cole were planning an intimate ceremony at MacArthur Place on June 26th (my birthday!). They were only going to have about 20 people in attendance and they had planned a special dinner for after the ceremony. Then, they’d have a large reception 2 days later at the Marin Art and Garden Center (I’ll be doing a separate blog post for those photos).

I had never been to MacArthur Place but my oh my is it stunning. Every inch of this place looks like a garden and their rooms are SO elegant and pretty. I felt like I was in a dream. The ceremony was so sweet and I truly felt like I was just part of their family hanging out, like the weird cousin in the corner with the camera :). Alexa and Cole are the kindest people. I mean, who gets their wedding photographer a birthday cake on their wedding day?! These two surprised me with a cake to take home and I cried when I got in the car. On the biggest day of their lives, they thought to bring a cake to their wedding and surprise me with it when I was leaving. I couldn’t believe it! I’ll never forget this day and wouldn’t want to spend my birthday anywhere else.
